Surrender vs. Giving Up

The internal call this past week was finally answered. My compass questioning the difference between Giving Up and Surrender. For I had known all the senses of giving up. But I had not acquired all the senses for Surrender. To know and acknowledge that one was not apart of the other, had not been experienced or known within my life.

I spent an hour with a wonderful woman, who upon leaving I mentioned my internal call to know the difference. For I heard of surrender but had I truly felt it? For which she said, “ask your guides. What both are for you.  And do not settle for a simple one word answer.”

Giving up rests in the mind, In the ego self. It is feeling trapped. Giving up is sorrow, fear, and inadequacy. It is throwing our hands up in defeat. It is exhaustion. It is finding no other solution but four walls, of no longer moving. It is the entrapment of the mind.

Surrender is evolution. It is knowing that you are your choice. That you are freedom. You are the compass. You are the universal flow. You allow yourself, people and the world to be. You are water, fire, air, Earth, and sound/vibration. Ever evolving. You live in the moment. Not in the past or future. Surrender is working with self acceptance. Through self. With compassion. With knowing that all is connected. All is seen. All comes when it comes. It allows the physical being in this life time to co-exist with the Universe. With creation. With the sparks of light. With the Sun. With the stars. With the Moon. With the galaxy. It is knowing and yet not knowing. It is an open vessel. The cosmic being you are. It is living on a level all your own. It is just being. Cellular structure.

These are definitions channeled through soul, higher self, higher beings. For me. They are not right and they are not wrong. They just are.
